Om Namah Siddham

100.00

The piece portrays a total of 7 mandalas (6 whole and 2 halves) representing the Ganesha. The 5 symbols in the smaller mandalas are the symbols of Ganesh ji and auspicious beginnings. Like we invoke lord Ganesh before starting anything new and auspicious, these symbols are practised in Mithila culture before undertaking any new initiative.

Description

The pastels and gold contrast with a neutral background of perspective botanicals and flowers.

The creation exists on energy. And since energy can neither be created nor destroyed; only transformed. For me, every art piece is a Sadhna – my meditation. Every art piece is created with the continuous chants of mantras infusing the specific energy of relevant mantras or entirely in silence. The meditation puts you in a kind of transcendent state where you become but the medium for what gets created on paper.

I have been a spiritual seeker for a long and having read a plethora of books on yantras and spirituality I have realised that spirituality and science are not as isolated as we think. At Kasshi, I endeavour to bring unity between the spiritual and the logical.

The art pieces are a mix of sacred geometry and spirituality. The mantra “uchchatam” and silence bring a certain tranquillity to the pieces. If you connect with it or if it speaks to you: maybe it was created for you.

Commissioned work may be created for specific manifestations. The yantras, the colours, the directions: if you are a believer, you know it works.

For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who doubt, no proof is sufficient.
